An American Musical Parody and Arabian Nights "rehearsal dinner and a show" at Studio One, #1 Main St, Springfield, VT, Saturday April 13th at 6pm.

For one magical night only, you have the opportunity for a rare behind the scenes look and "sneak peek" into the Five-Time Tony Award Winning Musical, including Best Book and Best Original Score, "The Drowsy Chaperone," as performed by the Springfield Community Players.

The Drowsy Chaperone cast will sing, act, and dance scenes and musical numbers from this comedic call back to the Golden Age, as a sneak peek into the rehearsal process of the musical, which opens the following weekend.

Arabian Nights rehearsal pop-up dinner provided by Aroma Catering Vt will transport you instantly to the shouks of Morocco with culinary delights from Africa and the Middle East.

Your choices will include a rich and aromatic Persian Braised Walnut Chicken (Fensenjan) served with Wedding Polow (aromatic saffron rice studded with golden raisins, pistachios, and orange peel) or Vegetarian Khoresh (chickpea, lentil, and spinach stew) served with Egyptian Koshari (aromatic rice and lentil), Fattoush Salad, and a sweet finale of our signature Persian Orange Blossom Water Baklava.

Audiences will then dive into the embellished, glitzy world of the 1920s for a masterful nightcap evening that pokes fun at the musical theater genre.
